Role Overview
As an AI Solution Engineer / Architect (Senior/Expert), you will lead the design and delivery of production-grade AI solutions that directly address business problems.
This role focuses primarily on AI solution engineering and architecture, with additional involvement in evaluation and presales.
You will act as the bridge between technical implementation and business value, ensuring AI solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with client needs.
1. AI Solution Architecture & Engineering (Core Focus)
• Design and implement end-to-end AI solutions (RAG, Agents, Fine-tuning) for real business use cases
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI system architectures
• Integrate AI solutions into client delivery projects and enterprise systems
• Optimize model performance, cost, latency, and scalability
2. AI Solution Quality & Evaluation (Supporting)
• Define and apply evaluation frameworks to validate solution quality
• Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for accuracy, safety, and performance
• Monitor key metrics such as faithfulness, relevancy, and reliability
3. Innovation & Capability Development
• Research emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities for application
• Propose AI adoption in testing, QA, and BA workflows
• Contribute to reusable AI assets, frameworks, and internal best practices
4. Presales & Stakeholder Engagement
• Support presales by proposing AI solution approaches and architecture
• Present technical solutions and AI roadmaps to stakeholders (technical & non-technical)
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align expectations and delivery scope
Must-have
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields
◦ 3+ years hands-on building production-grade AI/LLM systems (RAG, Agents, etc.)
• Proven experience delivering real-world AI/ML solutions in production environments
• Strong programming skills in Python (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, etc.)
• Experience with vector databases (Milvus, Pinecone, Chroma, etc.)
• Experience deploying AI systems on cloud platforms (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, GCP Vertex AI) with CI/CD integration
• Solid understanding of AI evaluation concepts and LLM quality metrics
• Strong communication skills in English, able to explain technical solutions to stakeholders
Nice-to-have
• Experience in AI architecture design or technical leadership roles
• Experience supporting presales or client-facing solution consulting
• Japanese communication skills
• Experience in regulated domains (Banking, Finance, Public Sector)
• Familiarity with AI governance, security, and compliance
Preferred Certifications
• Cloud AI: AWS Certified AI Practitioner / Azure AI Engineer (AI-102) / Google Professional ML Engineer
• AI Governance: IAPP AIGP, ISO/IEC 42001
• AI/QA: ISTQB AI or equivalent
