2 - Job Description:
1. Backend Development (Java / Node.js)
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using Java Spring Boot or Node.js (NestJS / Express / Fastify)
• Implement business logic, domain models, and service-layer architecture following DDD or clean architecture principles
• Build and consume message-driven integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS/SNS
• Optimize database access patterns: query tuning, indexing, connection pooling (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Write unit and integration tests; maintain test coverage standards across the backend codebase
2. Frontend Development (React.js / Vue.js)
• Build responsive, accessible web UIs using React.js (with TypeScript) or Vue.js (Composition API)
• Implement state management solutions: Redux Toolkit / Zustand (React) or Pinia (Vue)
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs; handle authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2/OIDC)
• Optimize frontend performance: code splitting, lazy loading, Core Web Vitals, bundle size analysis
• Write component tests and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Vitest, or Playwright
3. System Design & Architecture
• Contribute to API contract design, data model definition, and inter-service integration planning
• Understand and apply microservices patterns: API gateway, service discovery, circuit breaker, BFF (Backend for Frontend)
• Design database schemas for both relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) storage
• Participate in architecture reviews and provide input on technology choices across the full stack
4. AI-Assisted Development
• Actively use AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as part of the daily development workflow
• Integrate LLM-powered features into products: chatbots, smart search, AI-driven recommendations, or automated content generation
• Collaborate with the AI Engineering team to consume AI APIs and embed model outputs into UI/UX flows
• Evaluate and adopt new AI development tools; contribute to team-wide AI productivity practices and guidelines
5. Collaboration & Quality
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies: Sprint planning, daily stand-up, demo, retrospective
• Conduct meaningful code reviews; enforce coding standards and design patterns across both frontend and backend
• Work closely with UX designers to translate mockups into pixel-accurate, production-ready interfaces
• Produce technical documentation: API specs (OpenAPI/Swagger), component storybooks, integration guides
• Communicate technical progress and blockers clearly in English to team leads and cross-functional stakeholders
3 - Qualifications:
Must-Have
• 3–5 years of hands-on fullstack development experience in production environments
• Strong backend proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate) and/or Node.js (NestJS, Express)
• Solid frontend proficiency in React.js or Vue.js with TypeScript; comfortable owning features end-to-end
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL): schema design, query optimization, migrations
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and at least one API documentation standard (OpenAPI/Swagger)
• Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns: JWT, OAuth2, role-based access control (RBAC)
• Experience with Git workflow, code review practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Active use of AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) in daily development — required
• English communication proficiency — able to read/write technical documentation and participate in English-language meetings
Nice-to-Have
• Experience integrating LLM or AI APIs into product features (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source models)
• Familiarity with containerization: Docker, basic Kubernetes for local dev and staging environments
• Knowledge of GraphQL (Apollo Server / Federation) as an alternative to REST
• Experience with NoSQL databases: MongoDB, Redis for caching and session management
• Exposure to microfrontend architecture or component library development (Storybook)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) for deployment: S3, CloudFront, ECS, or Azure Static Web Apps
• Domain knowledge in retail, e-commerce, or POS/loyalty systems — a strong differentiator
